Tour Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrival in Sri Lanka / Negombo

  • Arrive in the laid-back beach town of Negombo, where Dutch canals, quiet lagoons and salty winds welcome you to the island
  • Relax by the ocean and prepare for the cultural immersion ahead

Day 02 – Negombo to Anuradhapura

  • Journey to the sacred city of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first capital and a place of immense Buddhist heritage
  • Explore the ancient city by bicycle, gliding past massive stupas, sacred bodhi trees and stone-carved monasteries
  • Visit sites like Ruwanwelisaya, Thuparamaya and Jetavanarama, each echoing with centuries of prayer

Day 03 – Anuradhapura to Polonnaruwa to Dambulla

  • Ride through time once again as you cycle through the 12th-century ruins of Polonnaruwa, filled with lotus ponds, moonstones and temple halls frozen in stone
  • Admire the standing, sitting and reclining statues of the Gal Vihara Buddha
  • Arrive in Dambulla and in the evening explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, where hundreds of golden Buddhas glow softly inside five magical cave shrines

Day 04 – Dambulla to Kandy

  • Rise early to climb the iconic Sigiriya Lions Rock Fortress, a sky-high palace with frescoes, water gardens and sweeping jungle views

Day 05 – Day Excursion to Knuckles Mountain Range

Day 08 – Nuwara Eliya to Ella to Udawalawe

  • Take the breathtaking scenic train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella, considered one of the most beautiful rail routes in the world

Day 09 – Udawalawe to Sinharaja

Day 10 – Exploring Sinharaja Rain Forest
