Tour Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrival / Colombo

Warm welcome at the airport,t followed by a comfortable transfer into the vibrant capital
Check into your hotel and relax after your journey
Enjoy time to yourselves with a quiet evening, room service, and city lights shimmering in the distance

Day 02 – Shopping in Colombo / Ayurveda massage for the couple

Explore Colombo’s upscale boutiques and local markets, from Laksala to Barefoot Gallery and Paradise Road
Find treasures in gemstones, designer batiks, handmade décor and soft silks
Return to your hotel for a deeply relaxing Ayurvedic couples’ massage, using warm herbal oils and gentle ancient techniques to soothe and reconnect

Day 03 – Leave for Sigiriya en route to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

Travel into the island’s cultural heartland with a scenic drive towards Sigiriya
Stop at the heartwarming Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where rescued elephants roam freely and bathe in the river
Witness elephants being bottle-fed and splashing joyfully, a moment that will stay with you both

Day 04 – Hot Air Balloon ride in the morning (Seasonal) / Minneriya National Park in the evening

Take to the skies in a hot air balloon at sunrise (seasonal), drifting over jungle, lakes and ancient ruins with only the sound of wind and wonder
Spend the evening on a safari in Minneriya National Park, home to the famed elephant gathering and flocks of storks and painted storks

Day 05 – Climb Sigiriya in the morning for the Sunrise / Leave for Kandy en route, visit a Spice Garden and get a Head and Shoulders massage / Kandy experience a cultural dance

Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress at dawn, where the sky blazes in orange and pink as you stand above the treetops
En route to Kandy, stop at a lush spice garden, where cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg scent the air

Day 06 – City tour of Kandy including a visit to the Kandy Temple / visit Peradeniya / do some shopping (Gems / Batiks / Wood Carvings / Silk)

Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, where lotus offerings and chants fill the sacred halls
Stroll through the lush Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, home to towering palms, flowering arches and centuries-old trees
Enjoy leisurely shopping for local crafts, precious stones, handwoven batiks and artisan woodwork — beautiful keepsakes of your love

Day 07 – Take a train ride from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya / Check in and relax / Candlelit Dinner

Board the scenic train from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, winding through tea valleys, mountain tunnels and misty hilltops
Check into your charming retreat in Nuwara Eliya, a town of rose gardens, Tudor cottages and mountain air

Day 08 – Walk through the tea hills / explore a tea plantation and enjoy a cup of tea in the cool climate

Day 09 – Leave for Galle and explore the Fort / Take a boat ride along the Madhu River

Head southward through changing landscapes to Galle, the coastal jewel with Dutch-era fort walls and ocean views

Day 10 – Relax on the beach and unwind
